Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at The Rutherford Hotel in Nelson, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of dining options available. As an environmental scientist always on the lookout for sustainable practices, I appreciated the hotel's commitment to providing two restaurants and a bar, ensuring guests like me could indulge in delicious meals without leaving a large carbon footprint. One evening, I decided to try the hotel's signature dishes at The Grove, located a short distance away. The innovative culinary creations impressed me, showcasing the chef's expertise and the restaurant's dedication to using fresh, local ingredients. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant provided the perfect setting for a delightful dining experience. To the exquisite meals, the hotel's close proximity to renowned eateries like Zest Restaurant & Bar and Federal Delicatessen allowed me to explore the local culinary scene effortlessly. The gastronomic journey continued each morning with the superb breakfast spread, offering a plethora of options from fresh eggs to fruit juices. The Rutherford Hotel exceeded my expectations with its diverse dining choices and culinary innovation, making it a top choice for travelers seeking a taste of Nelson's vibrant food culture.
